We welcomed Mazden Kian Buckner into the world in September 2009. Unlike Tavian, Mazden went full term (and then some!). Erica’s doctor had her scheduled for a C-Section the week after Mazden’s expected due date... just in case Mazden hadn’t made his debut by then. However, Erica really did not want to have another C-Section so the day prior to the scheduled surgery, Erica hopped on the treadmill in an attempt to induce labor. Eight miles on a treadmill and 31 hours of labor later, Mazden was born naturally! We were very excited to finally meet sweet, baby Mazden!
